| DarkBrain.com is a new web comic studio producing 13 original series of comics. Each comic has graphic novel quality art and a great story -
but also includes voice-over narration, original music, and user choices and preferences that change the story itself! The site is open now and includes
five comics FREE so readers can see what we are all about.
DarkBrain produces edgy content that would qualify for PG-13 and R+-rated audiences (see preferences below).
Great effort has been made to ensure that readers see only the level of content they want to see.
DarkBrain.com was established to be a pro-artist studio, with artists both being paid for work up front but in addition they receive royalties with 50% of all sales going back to the artists!
The business model is designed to break down the barrier of entry for independent comic authors and also to have artists participate in growth right from the start.
At DarkBrain, artists can focus on the art, while everything else can be managed for them!

Preferences System
Press reviewing our content need to understand our unique and innovative "Preferences" system. This system is designed to allow stories to be enjoyed by different groups of
readers - why limit a great story to one specific audience? Why not build it so it can have a wider range of appeal.
- Readers can pick their preference for:
- Sex (normal or mature)
- Gore (normal or sicko)
- Each comic has alternative content built to match reader preferences to allow them to enjoy the story more
- This system has proven to have many benefits
- stories can be enjoyed by different audiences
- content built to meet normal standards enhances the story elements for even the mature
content
- having the normal settings allows the mature content to stay true and not be watered down
